Its situation provides a fantastic vantage point for the south and east aspects of Lake Windermere and a panoramic window towards Wetherlam.
Additionally its central location provides easy vehicular access to Ambleside, Hawkshead, Coniston and the Langdale Valley, whilst for walkers there is immediate access to Loughrigg Fell, Rydal, Grasmere and the Pikes of Langdale.
